Chrome recently disabled third party extensions to be installed via a .crx file, and now require you to manually place the files in. Here is a quick tutorial on how to do that.
For starters make sure you have the .crx file from [Mediahint]. You can download it here.
Open the file in your favourite ZIP file manager, such as [7-Zip].
Now you’re going to want to extract the files to folder. I suggest putting the folder somewhere where it won’t be in your way as the folder will need to stay there as long as you want to keep Mediahint.
Now simply drag the folder you created right to your Google Chrome Extensions Page. Just a simple drag and drop. Watch the short clip below in case that confused you.
