How to use Mediahint After Google Chrome Disabled It.

Chrome recently disabled third party extensions to be installed via a .crx file, and now require you to manually place the files in. Here is a quick tutorial on how to do that.

Step 1

For starters make sure you have the .crx file from [Mediahint][1]. You can download it here.

Step 2

Open the file in your favourite ZIP file manager, such as [7-Zip][2].

Step 3

Now you’re going to want to extract the files to folder. I suggest putting the folder somewhere where it won’t be in your way as the folder will need to stay there as long as you want to keep Mediahint.

Step 4

Now simply drag the folder you created right to your Google Chrome Extensions Page. Just a simple drag and drop. Watch the short clip below in case that confused you.
